UNGA 2023 NEW YORK

The Africa Policy Conversations (AfPC) Initiative, a youth-focused non-profit based in Nigeria, led discussions on fostering Africa’s economic rebirth for inclusive growth at the African Economic Empowerment Summit. This United Nations General Assembly side event, held on September 22, 2023, in New York, was organized in partnership with OVG and the Cyrus R. Vance Center for International Justice. With the theme ‘African Economic Empowerment,’ the summit brought together leaders, experts, and influencers to focus on immediate action and address topics like financing innovation, strengthening institutions, rethinking finance and philanthropy, and energizing Africa’s future.
